SKETCHBOOK ASSIGNMENTS

About every 2 weeks, 7th and 8th grade art students will be given an incomplete picture prompt that they will need to finish as their sketchbook assignment. A video will be made for every assignment detailing a teacher example. Students may cut and paste the picture prompt to accommodate the size and shape of their sketchbook or concept for their drawing. Students are encouraged to be creative and they may respond to the picture prompt with either realistic/possible or fantastical/impossible images. Students may NOT copy the teacher's example. Value (shading) and/or color must be included.

Outstanding examples of student work will be made into a video for all 7th ad 8th grade classes to view!
